Privacy policy
AX Tools
What AX Tools collects, where it is stored and your rights over your personal data.
This policy explains how AX Tools handles data when you use the website. Our principle is simple: collect as little as possible.
1. No account needed
AX Tools has no sign-up or log-in. We never ask for your name, phone number or email to use the site.
2. Free tools keep your data on your device
The free tools run in your browser. What you type or upload, such as account details or photos, is processed on your device, is not sent to AX Tools servers and is not kept after you close the page.
3. Cookies and browser storage
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
ax_locale (cookie) | Remembers your language (English / Vietnamese) | 1 year |
theme (localStorage) | Remembers light / dark mode | Until you clear it |
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and AX Tools currently uses no analytics service. If that changes, we will update this page first.
4. Language based on country
On your first visit to the homepage, the server reads the country code (e.g. "US") that our hosting provider derives from your IP address, to show English or Vietnamese. AX Tools only uses that country code and does not store your IP address.
5. Server logs and outbound links
- Like any website, our hosting provider may keep technical logs (IP address, browser, time of visit) to operate the service and prevent abuse, under its own policy.
- When you click a "Try …" button (a
/go/…link), we record the product, the page you were on and the time, so we know which links are useful. This record contains no IP address or identifier. - Once you leave AX Tools for another website, that website's privacy policy applies.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, and to object to its processing. Send requests through our contact page and we will respond as soon as we can.
7. Changes
When this policy changes, we update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
