Visit Claude Code

Claude Code has no standalone price. It is included in every paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise) and shares the same usage limits as Claude chat. The Free plan does not include Claude Code.

Plans that include Claude Code

Pro – $20/month**, or **$ 17/month billed annually ($200). Limits reset every 5-hour session and are at least 5x the Free plan.
Max 5x – $100/month** and **Max 20x –$ 200/month: 5x or 20x Pro's usage per 5-hour session.
Team: $25 per Standard seat per month** (**$ 20 billed annually) and $125 per Premium seat, for 2 to 150 users.
Enterprise: $20 per seat plus usage at API rates.

Which plan should you pick?

Trying it out or a few hours a day: Pro is enough, and you also get Claude chat for docs, emails and research.
Regularly running out mid-session: move to Max 5x ($100). Only pick Max 20x if Claude Code runs most of your working day.
Engineering teams: Team Standard, with a 20% saving on annual billing.

NOTE

Claude limits work per 5-hour session, not per month. A heavy session can exhaust them in a few hours, after which you wait for the next window.

Is Claude Code free?

Do I have to buy Claude Code separately from Claude Pro?

What does the 5-hour session limit mean?
